The year 2025 is successfully behind us. When we look back, we see not only the numbers and statistics, but above all the road we have travelled together. This article is our little thank you. Without you, our customers, Goriffee would not be what it is today. Thank you for choosing us and for discovering the colourful world of tastes with us.
The past twelve months have been full of adventure and hard work for us. Our mission has been to bring the best of the coffee world directly to you, but also to show the world that top quality specialty coffee is made in Slovakia.
We travelled to you for coffee
In order to move forward, we didn’t just sit in the roasting room. We represented Slovakia at the biggest coffee exhibition in the world – World of Coffee in Dubai. It was a great honour and experience that opened new horizons for us.
Our passion for coffee has also taken us to our neighbours. We have visited coffee festivals in Poland several times – from Warsaw to Krakow and Katowice to Wroclaw. We also proudly presented our coffee at the huge coffee festival in Bucharest.



Vietnam and a visit to Zanya Coffee Farm
The most powerful and very personal experience of the year, however, was the visit of our friend and Slovak farmer Marian Takáč directly to his farm Zanya Coffee in Vietnam. Marián is an inspiring man who has found his second home in the mountains near Dalat. Together with his wife Lim, they decided to take a more difficult but meaningful path – instead of the usual commercial production, they bet on quality and grow top-quality specialty coffee that breaks down myths about Vietnam.
We are extremely proud that Marián’s coffees are already a permanent fixture in our offer. The year 2025 was no exception and once again we were able to bring you the best of his harvest. Seeing first-hand his dedication to detail in every step – from hand-picking only the ripest cherries to precision processing – reminded us once again that behind every cup is a real human story and honest work.

News at home in Bratislava
We didn’t burn out on home soil either. We have opened a new Goriffee café in the premises of TU-BA on Štúrova Street in Bratislava, where we are happy to meet you in person. We are also pleased that at the end of the year our coffees also entered the Metro network, making us more accessible to a wider audience.




The year 2025 in the language of numbers
Behind every cup of coffee you make at home, there is a piece of our story. What have we done?
- We handled almost 10,000 orders that went to your home.
- During 2025, we had a total of 66 different coffees on offer from around the world.
- On average, we roast 6 tons of coffee per month.
- Our record this year is 1 037 kg of coffee roasted in one single day.
- More than 7, 000 different 250g packages of coffee leave our roastery every month .
In order to maintain the quality and well-being of the team, even these “behind the scenes” numbers are important:
- Our head roaster Amir has tasted more than 2 ,500 coffee samples this year in order to select the best ones for you.
- Our roaster Jakub listened to 45,584 minutes of music during all this , which helps him keep the rhythm while roasting.

What 2026 will bring
We are already looking forward to the new coffee year and have several new products up our sleeve. We would like to draw your attention to our coffee trip to Kenya, which will take place in January.
