Kenya Rosebella Natural
Discover an exceptional coffee from Kenya’s Nandi region that combines a strong story and unique origins. Dr. Rosebella Langat, a former academic, founded the Chepsangor Hills Project to help local women build economic independence through coffee farming.
Chepsangor Estate Farm lies in a picturesque landscape of rivers and waterfalls, where the moisture of heavy rains mixes with the warm winds flowing off Lake Victoria. It is this specific climate, combined with the fertile volcanic soil, that allows the coffee cherries to ripen slowly and in a balanced manner, defining their complex character.
This specialty coffee was processed using the natural “sleeping bag” method – the cherries were first fermented in sealed bags and then dried on African beds. Thanks to natural processing and precise fermentation, you can look forward to an exceptionally juicy and layered experience. The cup is dominated by the sweetness of ripe strawberries, elegantly complemented by the freshness of lime. The overall impression is rounded off by a subtle peach aftertaste, which gives the coffee a velvety texture and a pleasant fruity sweetness.
Kenya Rosebella Natural coffee beans are ideal for filtered brewing.
