Rwanda Gasharu Anaerobic
After a year, the legendary Rwanda Gasharu coffee came to our offer again. Celestine Rumenerangabo was a key figure in the region’s reconstruction after the 1994 genocide and now operates 2 different processing stations in western Rwanda. He and his family are committed to raising the standard of living of coffee growing and processing families through an emphasis on quality, innovative processing techniques and direct trade. The Gasharu processing station, located near Lake Kivu, employs nearly 300 women and collects coffees from 1650 local coffee farmers from the Nyamasheke region.
They called this experimental lot in the Rwandan by using word Impano, or Gift. And indeed, when you taste the potential of this 100h of anaerobically fermented coffee, nothing better than the word gift would describe it. This is a truly fruity coffee that will leave you intoxicated with the sweetness of pears, the scent of roses with a subtle tropical acidity of tangerine.
Rwanda Gasharu anaerobic bean coffee is ideal for filtered preparation.
