Ethiopia Negele Gorbitu
Enter the world of the world’s most desirable coffee region. This specialty coffee comes from the high mountain region of Yirgacheffe in southern Ethiopia, considered the birthplace of Arabica. Here, coffee trees grow naturally in a biodiverse environment, under the shade of native trees, giving the beans their legendary complexity.
The uniqueness of this lot lies in the anaerobic natural processing method . The carefully sorted cherries were fermented for four days in containers without oxygen and then dried on African beds. This process brought out the natural sweetness and added a complex fruity depth to the coffee.
The cup is dominated by bold pineapple and ripe blackberries, which are complemented by a playful acidity reminiscent of sour candy on the finish. The light roast makes this coffee an ideal choice for all lovers of alternative preparation methods such as V60, Chemex or Aeropress.
