Colombia La Aldea Moisto Ferment
Wilson Ordoñez’s farm in San Agustín, Colombia (Huila region), charmed us during our visit in October 2023. Since then, we look forward to the moment each year when we can once again offer this exceptional coffee. Wilson’s farm is located at an altitude of 1,850 m.
. It covers approximately 4 hectares, and all the coffee is handpicked by the immediate family—ensuring precision and consistent quality. After harvesting, the cherries undergo a 48-hour fermentation together with must from the Geisha variety, which imparts a subtle complexity to the cup. In the flavor profile, you’ll find the fresh sweetness of tropical fruit—most notably mango, papaya, and nuts.
Colombia La Aldea Moisto Ferment is a whole bean coffee with a medium roast, and is ideal for espresso.
