India Gundikhan Anaerobic
This coffee is sourced from Gundikhan Farm in the Chikkamagalur region of India, where the Chandragiri variety is grown with an emphasis on sustainability and cultivation in the shade of a natural forest. It is processed using an anaerobic process in which ripe cherries are fermented for 72 hours in plastic barrels without air , with the addition of yeast.
Every detail – from origin and processing to roasting – has been tailored to bring out the character of the bean and its unique terroir in the cup.
As the hot water is slowly poured over the freshly ground beans, layers of flavours open up: delicate floral notes give way to more pronounced ones – the taste of orange, cocoa nibs and juicy plums create a sensory experience that is enchanting. The filtered preparation offers an unforgettable taste of this coffee with orange freshness, cocoa body and fruity juiciness of plums.
It’s a coffee for those looking for a balance between simplicity and complexity – a quiet but eloquent experience in every cup.
