Ethiopia Chelchele Washed
This lot comes from the Chelchele processing station in the Gedeb region, one of the highest in the Yirgacheffe area. The coffee is grown at an altitude of 1950-2100 m . m., which, combined with precise wet processing, brings exceptional purity and a clear flavour profile to the cup. This is so-called ‘garden coffee’, grown by local farmers on small family farms with an emphasis on a natural approach without the use of fertilisers.
In the cup you will find noble Earl Grey and subtle notes of oolong, which are complemented by the fresh acidity of ripe orange in the finish. Thanks to the light roast, this specialty coffee is the ideal choice for filter preparation, where its complex and tea-like body comes out to the full.
