Our beloved coffee producer Hellen Mora is back in our selection! Beneath Dragon Hill lies Agro Hellen – a hidden gem in one of the few areas of Tarrazú without mobile coverage. Hellen Mora and her family place great emphasis on environmental stewardship, preserving 50% of their farm in its natural state to maintain ecological balance and protect the microclimate. They are fully committed to natural and anaerobic processing methods, which generate little to no wastewater, minimizing environmental impact. All coffee pulp from processing is composted and returned to the soil as natural fertilizer.
The flavor profile of this specialty coffee evokes the freshness of fermented limes, balanced by the sweet-tart notes of gooseberry. The cup is further enriched with delicate hints of starfruit, adding a refreshing and exotic touch. This vibrant combination creates a dynamic sensory experience. The coffee is processed using the natural method with meticulous care – slowly and evenly dried on raised African beds to enhance its sweetness and complexity.
