This coffee comes from the family-run Esperanza del Bosque farm in Huehuetenango, one of Guatemala’s most renowned coffee-growing regions. The high altitude and unique microclimate make it an exceptional place for cultivating specialty Arabica.

The Rodriguez family cultivates Caturra and Catuai alongside the Conebosque hybrid, grown under shade at 1,550–1,700 meters above sea level. The slow ripening of the cherries at this altitude develops sweetness, balance, and complexity.

Processing follows the washed SHG (Strictly High Grown) method. Handpicked cherries are fermented, washed in fresh mountain water, and patio-dried, resulting in a clean cup with bright structure and refined character.

In the cup, expect rich notes of granola, chocolate, and dried figs, offering a smooth, medium body with a gently sweet finish.
