From the fertile hills of the Nyamasheke region in Rwanda’s Western Province we bring a washed Red Bourbon variety processed at the Gasharu Water Mill. This coffee, grown at high altitudes of between 1 700 and 2 100 metres, literally shines with its tropicality. This exceptional coffee lot carries the precision and dedication of over a thousand small farmers, from whom we have brought other lots in years past, and each year you have come to love the coffees from Gashar.

In the cup, expect a lively pineapple onset , juicy cherry sweetness and a clean, refreshing finish with hints of green tea. This coffee is a great example of Rwanda’s potential – balanced, energetic and full of bright tastes.
